Man Arrested for Stalking, Threatening Robin Roberts
First Wendy Williams, then Michael Strahan...now, Robin Roberts. New York City's finest talk show hosts are being targeted by stalkers, with Roberts the most recent near-victim of a crazed fan.
A man named Tony Warren was arrested on Wednesday after showing up eight times at the Good Morning America studio where Roberts works, TMZ reports. Warren reportedly threatened to "punch her in the face" for owing him money. Interestingly, the GMA studio where Warren camped out waiting for Roberts is the same place Michael Strahan's knife-wielding stalker attempted to find him.
NYPD promptly arrested Warren, 43, and he has been charged with misdemeanor harassment and stalking. Like Williams and Strahan before her, Roberts was thankfully shielded from any contact with her harasser.
