Kanye West Had Some Harsh Words for Nike During His Yeezy Season 3 Show
Kanye West’s beef with Nike has been well-documented, and it came to a head last night (February 11) during his Yeezy Season 3 Show.
After thanking adidas for both supporting and paying for the event, the crowd broke into a “f*** Nike” chant, to which ‘Ye joined in and exclaimed wasn’t loud enough. This also prompted him to play his new version of “Facts”, which in itself is a diatribe against the iconic brand.
When the crowd started to turn to slandering Michael Jordan however, Yeezy quickly stopped them and yelled out, "Not [expletive] Michael Jordan, he's my boy. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Michael Jordan. Respect Jordan." Apparently the two aren’t necessarily interchangeable according to ‘Ye.
Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Show coincided with the listening party for his latest album The Life Of Pablo. Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, Young Thug and others were all in attendance at the Madison Square Garden event.
