Box Office: Furious 7 Stays on Top, Avengers Storms Overseas

Vin Diesel franchise crosses $1 billion in ticket sales.

Furious 7 continues to ride strong, easily winning the box office for the fourth weekend in a row with a $18.3 million gross.
The film, starring Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson brought its domestic total to $320.5 million and crossed the billion-dollar mark globally, with $1.3 billion in ticket sales.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, starring Kevin James, came in second place with an additional $15.5 million in its second weekend of release.
Third place went to Blake Lively‘s Age of Adaline, which opened to $13.4 million.
Rounding out the top five were the animated film Home and the horror flick Unfriended, which brought in $8.3 million and $6.2 million, respectively.
Overseas, Avengers: Age of Ultron opened to $201.2 million, forecasting big numbers when the film opens in the U.S. next week.
