This year’s MTV Music Video Awards are already shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable nights in music and entertainment of this year.

From Kanye West’s alleged unscripted four minutes to do with what he pleases and now the announcement that Rihanna is going to open up the affair, the awards show is really outdoing itself this year. Needless to say, we can't wait.

In advance of tomorrow’s highly anticipated opening performance, RiRi has shared an announcement with quite the creative visual, captioning her post that she will be "Kickin Awf" the event.

The intriguing video announcement was created by Swedish visual artist Panda Gunda and features a stunning and surreal metamorphosis of a silhouetted figure into a series of moving abstract shapes. It's absolutely incredible, and perhaps is a hint that tomorrow's performance will follow in a similarly artistically-executed fashion.
