LeBron James Praises Man Who Stopped a Street Fight Between Kids in Viral Clip

The King tweeted, "We all need a word or two to help."

As corrosive and demeaning as internet street fights might be, sometimes it's just too hard to take your eyes off of them.

But LeBron James is encouraging his fans to check out a particular street fight for an entirely different reason than a guilty-pleasure form of entertainment.

King James took to his Twitter account last night to encourage his 34.5 million-plus followers to peep a viral street-fight clip not because of the blows landed between the two Black teenagers during the scrap, but instead, for the man who steps in and drops some much-needed wisdom on the misguided youth.

The three-time NBA champion tweeted that it was "so dope" that the guy "spoke real to our young generation," adding "we all need a word or 2 to help!"

True, indeed.

Early into the viral clip, which has generated nearly 150,000 likes (and counting) on Twitter alone, you can see an older man step in and call everyone recording the street fight on their cellphones "real cowards."

And he was just getting started.

"Look at the trick of the devil," he continued telling the fighting teenagers moments later. "Look around. Who ill-advised you? Who told you wrong?"

He added: "Ya'll men ... start acting like it, yo. We ain't gonna get nowhere like this."

The clip ends with the man demanding that he won't leave until the teenagers shake hands and squash their beef — which they do.

We couldn't agree more with LeBron — "we all need a word or two to help." We salute this man for stepping in and spreading the good word.
