Nick Cannon Makes A Case For Protest In "Stand For What" Video

The visual comes from his St. Louis. protests.

Nick Cannon made news when he protested the acquittal of a white police officer who shot to death a black man years ago in St. Louis.

Earlier this month, the rapper/actor stood with protesters in the city after officer Jason Stockley was acquitted for shooting to death Anthony Lamar Smith with a personal assault rifle.

“Stand For What” is a new video Cannon released where he begs the question of why African Americans should stand for the national anthem.

The visual also provides images of oppression whites have used over the years against Black people, including current day examples.

Nick Cannon is just one of a hand full of celebrities who’ve come out in support of Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling movement. LeBron James, Stevie Wonder, and a slew of NFL players are just a few of those in support of Kaep.
