[Look] LeBron James Trolled the Warriors During Their 70th Win
Many NBA fans were locked in and glued to their TVs on Thursday night, watching the Golden State Warriors join Michael Jordan's 1995-96 Chicago Bulls as the only two NBA teams to ever notch 70 victories in a season.
Well, LeBron James wasn't one of them.
Instead of witnessing history via the defending champion Warriors defeating the San Antonio Spurs for their 70th win, King James was too busy watching something else... and being petty on Twitter in the process.
Some timing to watch the 1997 Western Conference Finals, LeBron.
Now, we could understand you catching a movie to get away from the game. But the 1997 Western Conference Finals instead of the same Warriors, who beat your Cleveland Cavaliers in last year's NBA Finals?
Really?
That's just petty, man.
And James wasn't even done, continuing to tweet — next up about his friend Chris Paul and comparisons to Isaiah Thomas.
OK... thanks for that analysis.
We guess this is James's way of saying he's ready for the playoffs and hopefully a rematch against the Warriors in the Finals.
For the King's sake, he better hope the results are different if that indeed winds up happening.
In the meantime, three more wins will give the Warriors 73 victories, one more than the 1995-96 Bulls record of 72.
Let's see if James is watching then.
