This Is the Best Rapper Alive, According to Vince Staples...

He says, "it's not even close."

Vince Staples has spoken. When it comes to the competition for Best Rapper Alive, "it's not even close," according to the "Norf, Norf" rapper.
During an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106, Vince weighed in on the ever-present debate about who should wear the crown. Did he go with career rappers like Jay Z, Nas or Biggie? Perhaps Eminem, Mos Def or even a new cat like Chance the Rapper?

Well, in the Gospel According to Vince, that honor goes to Kendrick Lamar.
When asked who he thought was better between Eminem and Lamar, Staples answered, "We could say Michael Jordan, but he's not beating LeBron one on one, you know what I'm saying? If we're talking about right now, it's Kendrick, easy, not even close." Adding, "Kendrick Lamar, right now."
Well, K. Dot's throne isn't quite as secure in Vince's eyes as he made it sound. He quickly added, "Or Kanye."
