Naya Rivera Reveals She Had an Abortion During Glee

The actress opens up in a new book.

Naya Rivera dropped a few bombs today when she released an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, Sorry Not Sorry, including that she had an abortion while she was starring in Glee.
Now, Naya had a number of boyfriends while starring on the show — from her co-star Mark Salling (who is now facing indictment on child pornography charges) to rapper Big Sean — so who was the daddy?
Not who you think.

Turns out Rivera got pregnant in 2010 by her now-husband, Ryan Dorsey. Though the two suddenly tied the knot in 2014, just three months after Naya ended her engagement to Big Sean (or, vice versa), it seems the two had a history together.
According to Naya, they dated briefly in 2010 and she got pregnant as a result. The actress says they had just broken up because she wanted to focus on her career when she found out she was with child, and she terminated her pregnancy on a day off from Glee — without ever telling Dorsey.
Clearly, they worked things out and are now married with a healthy 11-month-old son, Josey. As for why Rivera decided to share her secrets now? "It was very scary to open up about everything," says Rivera. "It's not something a lot of people talk about, but I think they should. I know some people might read it and say, 'What the hell?' But I hope someone out there gets something out of it."
The new issue of People has more exclusive juicy tidbits from Rivera's memoir, including her battle with anorexia.
Relive Naya and Ryan's sudden marriage with our 2014 headline wrap-up above.
