#BlackGirlMagic: Watch Kendra Harrison Break 28-year-old 100m Hurdles World Record

Sadly, she won't be at the Rio Olympics and here's why.

Kendra Harrison is one badd woman.

The 28-year-old track and field star broke a 28-year-old world record over the weekend by recording a 12.2-second mark in the 100-meter hurdles at the London Diamond League meet.

Due to a clock error, Harrison's initial time was recorded at 12.58. However, after the clock was fixed and it was revealed that Harrison had set the new world record, check out the state of overwhelming emotion she felt.

What's blasphemous is Kendra won't represent USA Track and Field at the 2016 Olympics due to a qualification procedure, which seriously needs to be revisited.

How else could you explain the world's fastest 100-meter hurdler being kept out of the Olympics?

Come on, now. That qualification quirk needs to be lifted ASAP.
