Azealia Banks Blames Hip Hop for Her Dating Life
For anyone wondering why Azealia Banks doesn’t date Black men, hip hop is to blame. The “Ice Princess” rapper shared her dating philosophy this week after a fan on her Instagram page asked why she “only dates rich white guys with money.”
In short, Black guys are just too much work for Ms. Banks.
“Black men take Black women for granted and I’m too busy with music to be fighting for my rights at home,” she wrote. “I already have to fight for respect with the black men in hip hop so when I get home I like things to be nice and easy. Make sense?”
Her answer probably won't make much sense to those already put off by her opinions about racism (which tend to become Twitter rants), but at least she’s consistent with being honest.
