Common Responds to Drake and Serena Williams #CoupleAlert
Cuffin' season's coming, but Common has no plans to light some candles, throw on some Drake and call his ex-bae Serena Wililams.
According to a run in with TMZ, the "Glory" rapper is, instead, "happy" that Williams appears to be off the market... with Drake — his former lyrical foe — no less.
"Serena is a friend of mine," he said. "As long as she's happy, I'm good."
#ICYMI, Williams and Drizzy were caught cuddling in a Cincinnati restaurant this week, hours after she picked up the Women's Tennis Association trophy. Though neither have commented on the slip, Com at least acknowledged that he knew, and he had praises for her career as well.
"She doing super good on the tennis," he added, before doubling up, "And she incredible so, as long as she happy, I'm good."
