Drake is the First Artist on Spotify to Hit 10 Billion Streams

Thanks to #MoreLife.

Drake has been the king of streaming for quite some time now and with the release of his latest project, More Life, he isn't about to leave his throne any time soon.

In fact, More Life has helped the beloved recording artist to hit an ever-impressive new milestone on the streaming platform Spotify.

As reported, the company has confirmed that Drake has now become the first artist to ever hit 10 billion streams on the platform.

According to Forbes, his hit single "One Dance" helped propel him to new streaming heights, racking up an impressive 1.15 billion streams alone. It also doesn't hurt that his catalog is largely comprised of hit singles that captivate listeners to listen on repeat, such as "Hotline Bling" (600 million streams), "Too Good" (520 million streams) and "Controlla" (340 million streams).

Additionally, Views alone has garnered two billion streams on Spotify, with the rest of Drake's catalog, including the debut of More Life, propelling him to hit the 10 billion mark. We won't be surprised if More Life finds just as much success, if not more, as Views has, with Drake destined to dominate streaming platforms across the board in the weeks (and months) ahead.

Many congrats out to Drizzy on securing yet another W! Check out how fans are feeling about the project so far here.
