Nick Gordon Arrested for Allegedly Brutally Attacking His Girlfriend

Bobbi Kristina’s ex was booked for felony domestic violence and kidnapping.

Nick Gordon, the infamous ex-boyfriend of the late music scion Bobbi Kristina Brown, was reportedly arrested Saturday afternoon in Sanford, Florida and charged with domestic abuse and kidnapping his new girlfriend. Details are emerging of the alleged attack, and they are brutal.

TMZ is reporting that an incident broke out between the ex-boyfriend of Whitney Houston’s late daughter and the woman. Gordon's girlfriend told police he was pissed off because he thought she was trying to hook up with one of his friends at a sports bar Friday night. She says they got home from the bar and argued into the early morning.

When she tried to leave, Gordon started "punching and hitting her and refused to let her leave." She says he also snatched a laptop she was trying to use to communicate with her sister. She was finally able to get the attention of Gordon's mother, who is living in the same home, and the mother drove the girlfriend home. From there, the girlfriend's sister took her to the hospital.
She apparently filed a report at the police station after being released from a hospital. Gordon’s girlfriend alleges that she’d been battered and not permitted to leave her residence.

When officers arrived at Gordon’s home, they found him in the pool-area. Specifically, he was booked for felony domestic violence and false imprisonment of an adult — though Gordon is reportedly countering the claims and saying his girlfriend attacked him, and he might press charges.

Nick Gordon has a jagged past. Last September, he was found legally responsible for Bobbi Christina Houston’s death and ordered to pay $36 million as a result of the ruling. The courts believe he provided Bobbi Christina with the drugs that killed her. At first she was in a coma from which she never awoke. She passed away in July 2015.
