Kanye West signed Teyana Taylor to G.O.O.D. Music all the way back in 2012 and she has been a label mainstay ever since.

Apparently, Cosmopolitan and a bunch of other celebrity gossip, lifestyle and whatever else websites and magazines forgot about it, never knew or didn’t bother to find out. Taylor was the subject of Ye’s newest internet-breaking video for “Fade,” which caught the eyes everyone watching (damn that body never quit).

Sorry, anyway, Cosmo decided to tweet out the headline, “This Is Why the Girl in Kanye West's New Music Video Looks So Familiar.” And Twitter lost it.

Some decided to state facts. “A little respectful research could've prevented this,” a Twitter user relayed. “@TEYANATAYLOR is a respected artist.” Others decided to clown. “Put some respeck on @TEYANATAYLOR 's name,” another user wrote, channeling their inner Birdman. ‘I ain't gon say it no mo.’”

Aside from just being a member of G.O.O.D. Music, Teyana Taylor released her well-received album VII in 2014 that even made it to No. 1 on the U.S. R&B/Hip Hop charts. SMH.
