Tidal X Concert Raises $3.7 Million For Hurricane Relief

The third annual concert featured appearances from a slew of A-list celebs.

Jay-Z’s Tidal brought in big bucks for hurricane relief. According to Variety, the third annual charity concert raised $3.7 million in support of those affected by recent natural disasters.

Jennifer Lopez, Stevie Wonder, DJ Khaled and Cardi B were among the celebs to hit the stage at the Barclay’s Center last Tuesday (Oct.17). Proud sponsor Bacardi committed $1.3 million specifically for the concert’s relief efforts.

Hosted by Angie Martinez, Tidal X also featured performances from Chris Brown, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Yo Gotti and A$AP Ferg.

This isn’t Tidal’s only contributions to hurricane relief. The online streaming service has reportedly sent four planes carrying more than 500,000 pounds of water, tarp, solar lamps, diapers, food baby wipes, shoes and more to Puerto Rico following the devastation from Hurricane Maria.
