The three-day VMA bash will include strings of free concerts from today's freshest and hottest new talents.

In preparation for MTV’s Video Music Awards, the network is throwing a three-day extravaganza that will showcase some of the hottest and newest talent in the music industry. MTV’s “VMA Weekend” will reportedly include a series of free concerts that you won’t want to miss.

The MTV Weekend will kick off on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Avalon in Hollywood and will conclude on Aug. 26. The bash will also include performances from DNCE, Bebe, Rexha, and Kacy Hill. Miley Cyrus’s little sister, Noah Cyrus will also be making a special appearance.

Additionally, in celebration of the total solar eclipse, which occurred on Aug. 21, MTV is doing a VMA solar eclipse giveaway. To enter for a chance to win, fans can tweet the hashtag #TotalEclipseVMA with the female astronaut emoji. Winners will receive viewing glasses and an astronaut ice cream. MTV and Fooji sponsors will also hand out custom packages to fans in Kansas City, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

If you can’t make the shows, don’t worry, MTV is supplying fans with a live stream for all performances. The link will reportedly provide round-the-clock videos for this year’s performers, as well as other short-form content.

The official Video Music Awards will air on Aug. 27. Performers include Rihanna, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Jidenna and many more. Diddy, Alicia Keys and Jaden Smith will also be among the presenters of the evening.
