J. Cole's Homecoming Show Had Major Guests
J. Cole's homecoming concert in Fayetteville, North Carolina was one for the history books. The town's native son brought some of his big city heroes out to thrill the crowd at the Crown Coliseum for the final show of his Forest Hills Drive tour.
Jay Z rounded out his night joining Big Sean and Cole on stage to perform "IDFWU," "Clique" and more hits before Drake showed up to perform "Energy," "Know Yourself," and other tracks from If You're Reading This It's Too Late, as well as his Meek Mill diss track "Back to Back."
“I wanna let you know something about this guy right here,” Drake said to the crowd. “He’s one of the most realest, greatest, most genuine talented motherf***ers I ever met in my life.”
Cole's Forest Hills Drive tour has been a sold-out, star-studded affair from beginning to end, but nothing could top Saturday night's epic send off. "History was made in the Ville," Cole succinctly tweeted at the end of the night, calling it a wrap on arguably the most successful year of his career.
