Nicki Minaj Shuts Down Trey Songz's Claim That She 'Didn't Have S**t' Before Him

He tried it.

Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj have seen brighter days together. The former collaborators are currently subliminally bickering at one another, and all of this back-and-forth is stemming from a little trouble that Remy Ma stirred up with her ruthless diss track, "SHether."

During the track, which was released back in February, Remy Ma spills alleged tea that Minaj and the R&B singer had an affair, leading fans to dig up an old receipt where Trey claimed the rumor was "an urban myth." Regardless, Minaj didn't like how Trey chose to poke fun at the situation, instead of having her back, and ever since the two have not be on the friendliest of terms.

During a recent interview, Trey not only refused to apologize to Minaj (something she was looking for), but instead he said that despite Minaj helping him earn six plaques, the rapper "ain't have s**t before 'Bottoms Up.'"

Naturally, his comments weren't going to sit well with the Pinkprint rapper, who has now responded in a way uniquely her own: by calling on her Barbz fan base to back her up.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper asked her fans to send her a list of all of the opening acts she's ever had, to further illustrate the ways in which she helped elevate the careers of others, including none other than Trigga.

Now that Minaj icily made her point, it feels safe to say that she and Trey Songz won't be getting into the studio together anytime soon. The singer himself has since kept relatively quiet, save for vaguely tweeting that "God removes people out of your life to protect you."
