Finally, some good news for Sherri Shepherd! The talk show host — who has made headlines recently for getting fired from The View, divorcing her husband, Lamar Sally, and multiple custody battles — is getting back to work as the newest cast member of Ride Along 2. 
Shepherd will join stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube for the comedy, a sequel to this year's hit Ride Along. Ken Jeong and Olivia Munn have also been added to the cast. Tim Story will return to direct the sequel, alongside producer Will Packer.
No word yet on Shepherd's specific role, but producers did reveal the sequel will feature more action and will aim to appeal to a broader audience than the original. Ride Along was a box-office smash with $150 million in ticket sales.
