Tyga Conveniently Promoted His Album in Response to the Blac Chyna Drama

Might as well.

The reaction that many onlookers of Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s social media catastrophe from Wednesday (July 5) have been waiting for is here: Tyga.

As the father of Chyna’s first son, King Cairo, and the ex-boyfriend of Rob’s 19-year-old sister, it’s no question that his thoughts would be of interest to TMZ reporters after they caught up with him at LAX. His acknowledgment of the disaster, however, may not have been what reporters expected.

Following the “Rack City” rapper through the L.A. airport, the reporter shot straight into questions about how he’s feeling after the Rob versus Chyna showdown that dominated Instagram and Twitter timelines. While some may have expected a sour reply, which was replaced by a sour facial expression instead, Tyga took the opportunity to let us know of some new music on the way.

“I’m dropping a new project, July 21,” he responded.

Probing more of a reaction from him, the reporter then brought in Rob and Chyna’s 7-month-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, and asked whether Chyna should have custody of her. Tyga cold-shouldered yet another attempt for the reporter to pull out a reaction, responding that he’s “really in a good mood right now.”

Perhaps the reporter thought switching the topic up a bit might squeeze out more conversation from Tyga as he proceeded to shift his questions to his new relationship status. He asked the now-single 27-year-old, who split from Kylie Jenner in recent months, whether there was a new apple of his eye lately.

“No, I’m just focused,” Tyga responded. “Taking care of my business, taking care of my son.”

That way. See his lack of a reaction to the latest Kardashian drama below.
