Chance the Rapper's Brother Arrested After Fight at Party
Taylor Bennett, recording artist and little brother to Chance the Rapper, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and causing great bodily harm last week.
According to reports, Bennett, 18, was attending a college party in Illinois and allegedly kicked and punched a 19-year-old so badly that the victim suffered internal bleeding in his brain, required staples in his head for a fractured skull and still has impeded speech and headaches, prosecutors say.
The incident occurred last month, apparently triggered when the partygoer, inebriated, stepped on Bennett's shoes.
Bennett turned himself in to Chicago police last Thursday (Oct. 16). He was held on $75,000 bond and has since continued with the roll out of his music. He performed a sold-out show with Iggy Azalea this week and has plans to drop his latest video, "Family Gotta Eat," today.
